Victoria School, a place of knowledge and comfort(Please mark)
Do you remember your first day in your new secondary school? And the days that followed? I remember mine vividly.
"Well, have a good day and see you in three days time!" My mom smiled as she drove off. Gulping, I walked to the school porch, this time, the fifth time in my life. I was carrying with me two BIG bags. I was going to an orientation camp without comfort and friends. Well, lets not say without friends. Within my first day at Victoria school, I had found a circle of friends. First of all was Jun Yin, a big and round boy with so little hair he could be standing next to a monk with both people wearing robes and spectacles and you wouldn't differentiate the two of them. It was only out of respect for him that I didn't point that out on my first day. Next was Xiong Le. He was a very, very naughty boy who, I didn't notice at first, quite a brave fellow. He had hair that spread in all directions and a very mischievous face. Lastly, I met Hao Yang. He had a rather jolly face and a cheeky attitude. I first notice that he could make jokes and also groan-inducing puns without even having to be asked. Altogether, I was in the camp with them. Unfortunately, I'm not about to tell you about the details of the camp because that is but another story. Anyway, I was to go for CCA trials a week after my camp and I did not have to even make a thought about it: I was in Chinese Orchestra already. I guided my friends Jun Yin and Xiong Le and they are now in the Chinese Orchestra. My form teacher, Mr Gabriel, was with us during the trials. We had lessons after the trials were done. Each lesson had its own type of criteria and though I sometimes had failures and stuff like that, at least I had my friends with me. I did my 2.4km run, made a victorian guitar and learned to cook simple foods. Though these were hard times for me and I took these a year ago, hey, I'm not complaining you know. Why? Because I'm in Victoria School, a place of knowledge and comfort.
